Walk into any pharmacy or supermarket and you'll find shelves lined with products claiming to be "natural". But flip the bottle over and you'll find a list of ingredients that reads more like a chemistry exam than something you'd want on your skin. At McBliss, we believe you deserve better — and we're here to show you what truly natural skincare looks like.
It Starts With the Ingredients
Every McBliss soap is handcrafted using plant-based oils, butters, and botanicals that your skin actually recognises. We try to avoid synthetic fragrances, harsh sulphates, parabens, and artificial preservatives — the kinds of ingredients that can strip your skin's natural barrier and cause long-term irritation.
Instead, we use ingredients like:
- Coconut oil — deeply cleansing and naturally antibacterial
- Shea butter — rich in vitamins A and E, intensely moisturising
- Tea tree essential oil — a natural antiseptic, perfect for blemish-prone skin
- Lavender — calming, soothing, and beautifully aromatic
Handmade With Intention
Mass-produced soaps are made by machines in factories, often using a process that strips out the naturally occurring glycerin (which is then sold separately). Our soaps are made by hand, in small batches, using the cold-process method — which preserves all the goodness of our ingredients and retains that skin-loving glycerin.
Every bar is poured, cut, and cured with care. No shortcuts. No compromises.
Local Where It Counts
We're proudly South African, and wherever possible, we source our ingredients locally. This means fresher ingredients, a smaller carbon footprint, and support for local suppliers who share our values.
The McBliss Promise
When you choose McBliss, you're not just choosing a soap — you're choosing transparency, quality, and a brand that genuinely cares about what goes onto your skin. We'll always tell you exactly what's in our products, and why.
Because your skin deserves the truth.
